SwissLimbs is a Swiss not-for-profit organization based in Lugano engaged in humanitarian projects to restore advanced mobility to disabled people who have unfavourable options and resources to secure their own rehabilitation. SwissLimbs is also focused in capacity building of local professionals and organizations.
The Lugano based Centro Promozione Start-Up (Start-up Promotion Centre) provides assistance to those who intend to transform an innovative idea or a project in entrepreneurial activity.
As SwissLeg ventured into transforming themselves from an idea to a viable business, they were invaluable in assisting SwissLeg form a network of relationships, mentoring and logistical assistance.
AGIRE, a public-private partnership established in 2011, fosters the innovation and entrepreneurship in Ticino, leading to the an increase in economic competitiveness and the creation of high-skilled jobs.
It focuses, on one side, on the support of existing companies, by encouraging the transfer of technology and knowledge with academic centers (USI, SUPSI and others) and, on the other side, on the support of new companies (start-ups) that develop innovative products targeting international markets. To achieve these goals, AGIRE manages an investment fund (AGIRE INVEST) that provides risk capital to emerging companies, and operates the Tecnopolo Ticino, a network of technology incubators that host groundbreaking companies and provide the coaching and mentoring necessary for their expansion.
Through financial investment from AGIRE, SwissLeg was able to establish its first clinic in Jordan which opened the way to future contracts in other nations.

USI is a dynamic, young university that is raising its profile on both the Swiss and international level. Today, USI comprises four Faculties, with a student population of 3,000, 65% of which made up of international students from more than 100 different countries. Its taught courses (in Italian and English) offer degrees from Bachelor's to PhD degree programmes.
An USI classroom was the birthplace of SwissLeg and continues to be a supporter of the company in many ways.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is a dynamic and growing inter-governmental organization, with 151 member states, committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and society.
SwissLeg has been honoured to partner with the IOM in several projects in Iraq and Syria.
